Even in winter, when it's cold, salads can be a tasty side dish or an excellent single dish, rich in flavor and taste, nutritious and healthy.

Our version with crispy chicken, peeled oranges and WOW sauce, will bring you back to the freshness of summer but will warm your heart with spiced chicken!
You can prepare chicken legs for this wonderful salad even 2 days in advance, reheat them in a pan until crispy and golden!
🍳 PREPARE with DNC® step by step
STEP 1
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the cooked chicken legs; Cook at least 4-5 minutes on each side or until hot and the skin is crisp.
STEP 2
In a large bowl, emulsify together with a whisk (or fork): vinegar, mustard, honey, 1/4 teaspoon of salt and 1/8 teaspoon of black pepper. Drizzle in extra virgin olive oil. Set aside 2 tablespoons of the WOW sauce. Add the vegetables to the sauce remaining in the bowl; mix gently. Divide the salad into four plates.
STEP 3
Using a sharp knife, cut the top and bottom of the orange (top and bottom so it doesn't roll). Put the orange on the cutting board and cut off the peel from top to bottom. Thinly slice the orange into slices or wedges as you like. Arrange the orange pieces on the already dressed salad. Arrange a quarter of a chicken leg on each plate.
Serve immediately.

This recipe is also great cold or to take to work! In this case, however, I will teach you a trick that I have used all my years of the University of Medicine ... pour it into a glass jar small enough to fit in the container you take to work, so that you always have your dressing ready. , you just have to shake it before enjoying the salad! I keep aside the small jars of pickled capers or salted anchovies! Dr. Ravelli Lia
