Snacking is important so you don't get hungry for your meals! With fruit you are never wrong, but if you take it alone sometimes satiety is not always guaranteed. Eating fruit is important to have a good amount of fiber, sugars and vitamins throughout the day. But what would you say if we offered you a variant in which fruit contains all the best nutritional choices for your snack? Read how this simple and quick DNC®plate recipe can totally change the taste of the usual snack.

You have no idea how quick and tasty this recipe is! You can use the fruit you like best according to the season we are in. In winter it is easier to use apples and pears, they lend themselves better to this DNC®plate recipe. In summer you can use peaches or apricots and eat it cold as a snack. In autumn you can use plums or prunes, but also bake the figs simply cut in half and enriched with the filling you see in this recipe.

We chose apples because everyone really likes them and then there are some for all tastes! There are about 7000 varieties of apples. About 1000 available in Italy but we always eat our favorite!

🍳 PREPARE with DNC®plate step by step
Step 1: PREPARE THE INGREDIENTS
There is no quick recipe without the preparation first of all the necessary !!
You need: -1 apple per person (if you also prepare for the day after, calculate 2 per person) juice of 2 small lemons or 1 orange (in this case add less sugar) -1/2 teaspoon (for each apple) of brown sugar or stevia (for diabetics) -2-3 almonds (for each apple) or other seeds such as chopped walnuts or hazelnuts or chopped hazelnuts ready -4-5 dried raisins (for each apple) plain oat muesli 1 tablespoon = about 15g (for each apple) -knife and spoon for cutting and digging apples -baking tray lined with parchment paper -bowl to mix the ingredients
(optional: cinnamon sticks or ground cinnamon)

Step 2: START WITH TASTE mixing is the TRICK!
Forget the long and complicated procedures .. Follow these simple steps and you will get a spectacular result that will surprise your family or your guests. You can bring this recipe to the table as a special dessert for a family dinner, perhaps with a scoop of cream ice cream or a spoonful of BIO vanilla yogurt for a lighter version. If you prepare it in advance you can take it to work as an all-in-one snack! The secret to a good dish is to mix the flavors. Follow the steps and you will surely introduce this recipe among the most popular of your family! You also know that it is light and therefore guilt-free.

In a bowl or in a bowl / salad bowl, depending on how many apples you have to prepare, put the raisins, muesli, almonds, lemon or orange juice, sugar or stevia, ground cinnamon if you like. Mix all the ingredients and let them rest.
For prepare the apples
Choose the apples you like best, they will be fine, just cut the top with the stem as if it were a hat and put it aside. Meanwhile, make a cross in the pulp of the apple and start digging the pulp with the spoon. Remove the seeds and add it in very small pieces to the mixture you set aside. Proceed for all apples. Place the apples on the baking sheet. Fill the apples with a spoon to the top (even if something comes out in cooking it shrinks a little. Put the top of the apple next to the stuffed apples NOT ON TOP otherwise they will burn in the oven immediately! Bake in a preheated oven for 25 minutes at 180 °. Once ready, take the apples out of the oven, they need to cool slightly before they can be served

You can choose to cook the hollowed out apples empty and then fill them warm or cold with the ingredients you like best!
Step 3: EVERYTHING for a DELICIOUS SNACK without a SENSE of guilt
Remember that if you have decided to cook more apples, you need to calculate the correct amount of filling for each apple (see the ingredients)

So do this: prepare this recipe in advance and keep it in the fridge closed in an airtight container for up to 2 days
LOOK COMPLICATED ???
Alternatively, you can cut the apple into slices, place it on a baking sheet (or in an oven dish) and pour the mixture over it. You will have fabulous baked fruit "au gratin" topped with granola seeds and dried fruit. Awesome. The Nutritionist recommends:
Apple is always the most convenient fruit to have in the fridge. Just when we have bought too many and maybe they have remained in the fridge too much, however they have lost their vitamins, so cooking in the oven does not alter their nutritional composition! They are also an excellent empty fridge recipe, you can make it with fruit that is no longer very fresh or that is a little too ripe
