Granola is a simple and nutritious food, which can be a source of numerous benefits for our body. We must also mention its magnificent energy supply: if you eat it for breakfast it can prove to be a precious ally to face particularly demanding days. It is naturally gluten-free: if you are looking for gluten-free dishes, granola is a good option for your Nutri®CELIAC program. To reduce sugars if you are following your specific Nutri®DIAB2 program for diabetes you can replace honey with agave syrup, to have a lower glycemic impact and DO NOT use raw cane sugar. To make this DNC®plate recipe completely vegan and include it in your Nutri®VEG program, substitute coconut butter and maple syrup honey. How do you eat granola? Granola can be eaten as it is or combined with milk for breakfast - both cow and vegetable, such as coconut, oat and rice - or with whole or low-fat yogurt depending on your Nutri® Program (ask for info on the Program Nutri®) Other ways to use granola: in yogurt in vegetable milk in cow's milk as a topping for ice cream as a snack (in large pieces such as bars) on fresh fruit salad as a summer porridge, with cold water like porridge, with hot water in muffin or cake mixes to have a crunch effect
🍳 PREPARE with DNC®plate step by step
Step 1: PREPARE THE INGREDIENTS
There is no quick recipe without the preparation first of all the necessary !!
You need for each dish:
-350 grams of oat flakes (you can create mixes like: oats and barley or oats and buckwheat)
-250 grams of seeds (walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin)
-100 grams of dehydrated fruit (we used dehydrated cranberries but they are also excellent: raisins, dates in small pieces, papaya, dehydrated mangoes, etc. ..)
-100g of honey (choose your favorite flavor: acacia, wildflower, chestnut, etc.) for vegans it can be replaced with agave or maple syrup
-25 grams of clarified butter (or normal) or coconut butter for vegans
-100 ml of water
-large baking sheet lined with parchment paper
(optional: raw cane sugar)

Forget the long and complicated procedures .. Follow these simple steps and you will get a spectacular result that will surprise your family or your guests.
You can bring this DNC®plate recipe from the Nutri® Program to the table as a delicious breakfast for your family, it will give you an explosion of flavors you will never forget!

The secret to a good dish is to mix the flavors. Follow the steps and you will surely introduce this recipe among the most popular of your family!
If you want a gluten free dish for your Nutri®CELIAC program you can replace it with certified oat flakes or certified buckwheat (see all options)!
DO THIS
First you need the oat flakes or if you prefer, the barley ones. Weigh about 350 grams. At this point, choose the oil seeds: walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, pumpkin or sunflower seeds, in total they must be about 250 grams. Now the fruit dehydrates.
Here we need imagination: raisins, cranberries, figs, apricots, plums, dates. In short, weigh about 100 grams (or if you like it even more) and set it aside.
Then honey, about 100 grams (for vegans it can be replaced with maple or agave syrup).
The honey melts slowly with about 25g of ghee (or coconut), 100 grams of water and a tablespoon of raw cane sugar (optional). Once you have a "syrup" let it cool slightly.
The flakes at this point should be mixed with the dried fruit cut into small pieces and then with the melted honey.
Better with a metal spoon: small groups and agglomerates will form here and there, try to crush them to create a uniform mixture in a single layer.
Now pour the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper (if possible in a single layer) and toast it in the oven at 160 ° C for about 40 minutes (even for less time and at a lower temperature depending on your oven).
Every 15 minutes you must have the patience, armed with an oven mitt, to take out the pan and shake it slightly or stir everything with a spoon so that the granola does not stick.
Do you know you can make pan-fried granola?
If you do not want to use the oven the procedure is the same but when you have to insert the mix of seeds, cereals and chopped fruit instead of using a pan isa a large pan and cook over medium heat (do not raise the heat otherwise it will burn and will not dry out) for at least 15 minutes. You still need to cool on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

You can choose other combinations. The one with oilseeds and dehydrated fruit is a great classic, but you can try other flavors like pumpkin seeds and goji berries.
Step 3: ALL THE STRAIGHT FOR A DELICIOUS DISH
